Scholarship Components

Scholarships can include either one or several of the following components:

A TOTAL OR PARTIAL FEE WAIVER

A POSSIBLE TRAVEL & INSTALLATION GRANT

AN UNSPECIFIED ONE-SHOT GRANT

A MONTHLY INCOME (Either as a contractual fellowship or as a monthly stipend)

Fellowships Coordinated through the GEM PhD School

These funding opportunities are awarded to candidates upon proposal by the GEM PhD School’s BoD, and approval by the relevant sponsoring instances. The exact rights and obligations of the fellowship are set in accordance with the sponsor’s wishes.

EXTERNAL FUNDING RECOMMENDED THROUGH THE GEM PhD SCHOOL (Under development...)

These funding opportunities are awarded directly by the sponsoring authorities following submission of a separate direct application which can be supported by the GEM PhD School if the candidate is withheld.
